This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application MindEdge (the "App"), our public website, free tools, and coach dashboard. MindEdge is responsible for this processing. Privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].

We do NOT: Sell your personal data to third parties, share your mood logs, notes, assessment answers, or chat conversations with advertisers, or use your data for purposes unrelated to providing the MindEdge service. 4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity.

4.4 Website Analytics and App Advertising

On our public website. We do not load Meta Pixel or send website events to Meta. With your prior permission, our own Firebase endpoint counts public page views and fixed interactions such as App Store clicks and tool completions. Reports contain daily totals, public page and landing paths, website language, coarse device categories, referring source categories, and browser visit flags. With consent, session storage remembers the public landing page and referring site for a visit, restarting after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not send your tool answers, searches, notes, or cue words. To keep public forms and measurement endpoints reliable, we temporarily store hashed network identifiers, submission tokens and request counts for abuse prevention. Form tokens expire after 20 minutes; temporary quota and duplicate-check records are marked for automatic deletion within two days. Database cleanup may occur later. These security records are separate from optional analytics and do not add tracking cookies. Technical hosting and security logs may include IP addresses and browser details; those are not stored in our website analytics collection. See our Cookies & Privacy Choices page for storage names, duration, and controls.

Our free tools process your answers within your browser. The new routine, cue, and reflection builders keep answers only in the open page unless you choose to copy or print them.

In the app. We report a small number of milestone events, such as finishing onboarding, starting a trial, or subscribing, so that a download can be credited to the ad it came from. These events record only that a milestone occurred. They carry nothing about your mood, your writing, or your conversations.

We never share any of the following with Meta or any other advertising platform:

  • Your mood check-ins, energy levels, or the notes you write
  • Anything you type into the coaching chat
  • Your assessment answers or scores
  • Your sport, experience level, or mental performance goals
  • Your name, email address, or account credentials
  • Any health or mental-health information

We do not build advertising audiences out of anything you tell MindEdge, and we never use the sensitive parts of your account to target ads.

4.5 Your Advertising Choices

You can opt out of this measurement at any time, and doing so will not limit your use of MindEdge:

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Update

You can access and update your profile information at any time through the App's Settings.

5.2 Delete Your Account

5.3 Data Export

You may request a copy of your data by contacting us at [email protected].

5.4 Opt-Out

You can opt out of push notifications via device settings and analytics collection via App settings (where available).

6. Children's Privacy

MindEdge is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

7. International Users

If you are accessing MindEdge from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our servers are located.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Where a change requires consent, we will request it separately. Continued use does not replace that consent.

9. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at:

Email: [email protected]

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

11. European and UK Users

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, applicable data protection law provides rights, subject to its conditions:

To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].

11.1 Purposes and legal bases

We process account details and requested service features to perform our contract with you; support and security information for our legitimate interests in responding to requests and keeping the service secure; records needed to comply with legal obligations; and optional website analytics only with consent. We do not treat this policy as consent. Information you choose to enter in the app may reveal health-related information. Where explicit consent is required for that processing, it must be obtained separately and can be withdrawn; this notice does not replace it.

11.2 Retention

We retain account and app content while needed to provide your account and requested features, subject to deletion requests. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, or backup recovery until the relevant retention period ends. Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve and document the request. Aggregated website counts may be retained for trend analysis and do not contain your tool answers. Website consent is valid for 180 days; its optional browser markers stop being used and are removed on withdrawal or expiry.

11.3 International processing

Our providers may process data in countries outside your country of residence. Where EEA or UK law requires a transfer safeguard, the transfer must be covered by a valid adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses and any required supplementary measures. Contact [email protected] for information about the providers, locations, and safeguards relevant to your data.

11.4 Requests and complaints

Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Under EEA and UK rules we ordinarily respond within one month; if the law permits an extension, we will explain it within that month. You may complain to the data protection authority in your place of residence, work, or the alleged infringement, or to the UK Information Commissioner. You do not have to contact us first.

11.5 Automated features and younger users

AI coaching provides automated suggestions, not decisions determining legal rights or similarly significant outcomes. It can make mistakes. Where a child's consent is the legal basis for an online service, local law may require parental authorization up to age 16 even though the service minimum is 13. A child should not provide consent-dependent information without the authorization required in their country.
